Tiny Epic Zombies (Kickstarter Spotlight)

The Tiny Epic series of games have always offered great games in a small box. Tiny Epic Zombies looks like it won't be any different. Tiny Epic Zombies is a 1–5 player game where players can either be humans trying to survive in a mall and complete objects or zombies trying to overrun the humans. The humans must always be on the move because time is short and the zombie horde never stops. Also, if a character dies, they turn into a zombie and make the undead horde that much stronger.

With 5 different modes of play, this game will appeal to many different game groups. The gameplay looks simple enough for beginning gamers to grasp easily, while still offering a good deal of strategy for those who want depth of choices. Currently, the game comes with 10 characters (14 in the deluxe edition), 10 weapons (12 in the deluxe edition), 9 scenario cards, and 9 double sided store cards. This all brings a great amount of variability, and more stretch goals are still being unlocked to increase the replayability even further! I expect Tiny Epic Zombies will rank quite high on the Tabletop Takeaway rating scale when I finally get my hands on it.

Some may think the zombie theme is stale and overdone, but Tiny Epic Zombies offers fresh mechanics and ideas that breathe new life into the genre. And let's be honest, who wouldn't want to shoot a bazooka while riding on a motorcycle?! This is absolutely a game to check out.
